Under direct supervision of physician investigators, is responsible for enlisting and maintaining patients on clinical research protocols. Responsible for adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and all state and federal research regulations. Assists with determining eligibility of patients for clinical trials, presenting trial concepts and details to patients, providing education for staff and patients, and ensuring proper treatment for and assuming responsibility for clinical documentation for patients on protocol. RN (BSN preferred); Oncology background with experience in medical research. SOCRA and Oncology certificates desired. Understanding of research billing and insurance helpful. Good computer skills a plus
