Minnesota Oncology is in need of an experienced BC/BE Radiation Oncologist for a robust practice in its Maplewood location.  Minnesota Oncology is a multi-disciplinary private physician-led medical group specializing in hematology and oncology with more than 70 providers in medical oncology, radiation oncology, gynecology oncology, plastic surgery, breast surgery and thoracic surgery; serving in fourteen clinic locations across the Twin Cities metro area and Hudson, Wisconsin. The position offers a competitive comprehensive salary and benefits package with a track to partnership.

 


Responsibilities

  • Our Maplewood Cancer Center is ASTRO APEx accredited and houses two Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, Eclipse treatment planning system, a PET scanner and a CT scanner available for diagnostic and simulation scans.
  • We treat 60-70 patients per day and offer treatments with RapidArc IMRT, IGRT, SGRT, SBRT, SRS respiratory gating, radiopharmaceuticals and HDR brachytherapy.  It is staffed with 4 radiation oncologists, 3 medical oncologists, 1 gynecologic oncologist, 7 advanced practice providers, 1 palliative care provider, 3 dosimetrists, and full-time on-site physics. 
  • 1:4 call schedule with no hospital call. 
  • Minnesota Oncology maintains strong relationships with other private medical groups and hospital systems in the Twin Cities and has an excellent reputation as a referral center for patients in the Twin Cities metro area and outlying communities.  Opportunities for leadership and for research through Metro-Minnesota Community Oncology Research Consortium and The US Oncology Network if desired. 

 


Qualifications

  • Board certified/eligible. Experience preferred.
  • Beast and Radiosurgery experience required.

Salary Range: $500,000 to $630,000 annual
